R. S. Tewari “Shikhresh”
Poetry to me is a pitch of solace
On which I intend to serve human race.
It is born in the softest regions,
When they’re hurt or face perversions.
It has ev’r been source of inspiration;
It could sustain me in utter desperation.
In all instances right or wrong,
‘She’ has blessed me with a will strong.
It has ever been a source of harmony
With the world around
and the world within.
It has made me being impartial
To high and low, common and apecial.
It has led me to refinement of feelings;
It has made me truthful in dealings.
It has taught me never to yield
To any oppression in any field.
